"I'M FINE" is something I say a lot when I'm actually not fine. I use it to delude myself into believing I'm okay, and to avoid having an uncomfortable conversation on why I'm not fine. But something I'm learning is that it's really important to acknowledge when I'm not fine, and to take steps to work with it, rather than burying my head. I think it's something a lot of people can relate to, and I think a lot of us are avoiding those conversations. In this second episode of EDUCATING ELLY I go into this in a lot more detail - all the ways we pretend to ourselves, and why it's really important to open up about our mental states. So, let's talk! x Elly
